Go to the NJ License Search portal

You can search by:
  • License number (if you know part of it)
  • Last name and first name
  • Business name

Find your record and note your complete license number

Save for Future Reference

Write down or save your license number for future use

  • Your legal first and last name
  • Exactly as it appears on your license
  • Middle initial if used during licensing

License Information Details

Once you find your license, you’ll see:
  • License Number: Your unique identifier
  • License Type: Should show “Salesperson (Referral)”
  • Status: Should be “Active”
  • Expiration Date: Your renewal deadline
  • Broker Information: General Referral, LLC

Common Issues

Possible Reasons:
  • License application still pending
  • Name spelled differently than expected
  • License may be inactive or expired

  • Contact NJ REC at (609) 292-7272
  • Check with General Referral support
If your license shows a different broker:
